Student Dress Rehearsal Brings Opera to Life
Opera Grand Rapids invites licensed teachers to share the magic of opera with students from middle school through college through our Student Dress Rehearsal Program. As participants in the program your students will experience professional opera performed in De Vos Performance Hall.

Performances begin at 7:30p at DeVos Hall.
Late seating is discouraged.
Students are registered on a first come basis.

Who Can Participate?
Registrations may be submitted by an accredited teacher for a class or group of up to 40 students. Individual students, home school groups and small groups such as Girl Scout Troups etc. may register through our Operatunity Program. Based on availability groups of differently abled persons, and seniors may also register for the program.

How to Register
To register, simply download our online form and fax or mail it to our office. Registrations are booked on a first come basis. Once your registration has been accepted, you can download PDF classroom materials here to prepare your class to attend the opera. A few weeks prior to the show you will receive a packet containing your tickets to the show, general guidelines attending the opera, and an educational CD narrated by Maestro Robert Lyall. You may also download an educational preview of the show here to share with your class.
