Children discover avenues of creativity and self-expression through singing, dancing and acting.
Imaginations are sparked as children experience the fantasy world of opera.
In the studio your child will learn music in groups and as solos, plus dance, acting and stage craft.
The studio includes instruction on dance and stage movement, acting,
and general stage craft. Each class will include physical and vocal warm-ups, singing and instruction on the language of the theatre. The Studio will culminate in an informal performance presented for parents
and friends at the Betty Van Andel Opera Center.
 William and Hollis Bokhout have presented Children’s Opera Workshops in schools across the country for the last 5 years. They are proud to bring this experience to our Opera Studio.
